STRATEGIC TRIP CONSULTING

Make Every Run Count on Your Niseko Trip

Few riders get more than a week in Niseko. Our sessions turn that limited time into a precision plan that makes every run matter. With expert logistics checks and terrain strategy, you eliminate guesswork and ride the best of what Niseko has to offer.

Our Services

Tier 1
Pre-Trip Logistics Audit
Best for: First-timers and families.

30-minute video call

Don’t let avoidable logistical mistakes cost you time or energy. This focused session pressure-tests your trip setup so your accommodation, transport, and pass choices actually work on the ground.

What We Cover

  • Accommodation Reality Check

Whether your location works for your group, including walking distance to lifts, shuttle access, and morning flow.

  • Lift Pass Strategy

Clear guidance on Niseko United vs local passes vs the 50-hour pass, based on trip length and riding style.

  • Transport and Dining Logistics

Advice on airport transfer options, plus which restaurants genuinely require advance reservations.

  • Local Q&A

Practical advice on winter driving, supermarkets, and other useful tips that visitors actually trip over.

Scope note:

This session is logistics-only. Terrain strategy, powder runs, and gate systems are covered in Tier 2 and Tier 3.

Tier 2
Powder Strategy Session
Best for: Advanced riders & return visitors.

60-min call + recording

This is a tactical planning session designed to eliminate guesswork. Using live 3D maps, we build a clear strategy for finding fresh snow, adapting to conditions, and avoiding wasted mornings.

Everything in Tier 1, plus:

  • In-Resort Powder Strategy

Detailed strategy for powder runs within resort boundaries, including tree zones, ungroomed runs, and areas that stay fresh longest.

  • Non-Peak Gate Strategy

Strategic use of lift-accessed gates excluding G3. Focus is on gates with straightforward returns to lifts, groomers, or base areas.

  • Decision Logic, Not Guessing

Plan A and Plan B frameworks based on wind, snowfall, visibility, and lift status.

  • Gate System Understanding

How to read the avalanche report, interpret gate behavior, and position yourself intelligently without rushing or lining up blindly.

  • Session Recording

A replayable video to review before and during your trip.

Important note:

This session covers strategic planning and education only. It does not include peak access via G3, touring terrain, or real-time navigation. All riding decisions and risk management remain the responsibility of the rider.

Transportation requirement:

Tier 2 recommendations assume your group has access to a car or private transport. While limited adaptations are possible, relying solely on public transportation will materially reduce execution quality and limit access to key recommendations.

Tier 3
The Niseko Master Plan
Best for: Groups who want a planned, proactive approach to experience the best Niseko has to offer.

90min Call + Support + Wine

This is the highest level of consultation. We design your playbook for Niseko’s most coveted runs and provide structured support during your stay so changing conditions do not derail your plans.

Everything in Tiers 1 & 2, plus:

  • Priority Strategy Session

A 90-minute unhurried consultation to refine your terrain, timing, and logistics decisions at a deeper level.

  • Peak Access Planning via G3

Strategic planning for peak descents, including East, North, and West Face logic, exit trade-offs, and weather sensitivity.

  • Custom Storm Protocol PDF

A personalized decision matrix for your group. Check the weather, follow the logic, and understand your best options without second-guessing.

  • Follow-Up Support
If questions arise while you’re on trip, you’re welcome to request brief follow-ups or related to our prior discussion, either during your main session or afterward via email. Additional mid-trip video check-ins can be arranged on request.

  • Backcountry Touring Feasibility

High-level planning for touring objectives, focused on decision-making criteria, equipment readiness, and exit considerations. This is not route instruction or guiding.

  • Day-Trip Logistics

Clear guidance on day-trip considerations for Rusutsu or Kiroro, including transport timing trade-offs, lunch strategy, and zone selection.

  • Wine Solution Welcome Pack

Clients may opt to add a premium 3-bottle Wine Solution set, delivered separately to their accommodation before arrival. 🍷

Scope clarification:

Support is limited to the defined sessions and deliverables above. This is not real-time guiding, daily check-ins, or on-mountain instruction.

Transportation requirement:

Tier 3 planning assumes your group has a rental car or private transportation for the duration of the trip. Peak access planning, storm protocols, and day-trip logistics cannot be executed reliably using public transportation alone.

Anchor 1
Safety & Risk Disclosure (Important)

Skiing and snowboarding outside groomed resort runs, including terrain accessed via gates or in the backcountry, involves inherent risks. Conditions can change rapidly due to weather, wind, visibility, and snowpack stability.

All guidance provided in Tier 2 and Tier 3 is strategic planning and education only. It is not guiding or real-time instruction. Final decisions regarding terrain selection, gate access, and risk management are always the responsibility of the individual rider.

Clients are expected to:

  • Understand and follow the Niseko Rules

  • Assess conditions independently on the day

  • Carry appropriate equipment and exercise sound judgment at all times
